Wich alliances will be on EU ?

When the new system coming  , wich alliances will we have? 

had anyone discussed this already  or is too early  ? 

How many german fighting alliances there will be ? 

Will there  be a fighting french alliance?

Are the spanish guilds   considering to make an alliance?

What about the rest of EU ?  -SFR - Piken  -FSP  - Gankdara - UW - any server consider to start alliance with  their current comunity ?

 

I didn;t saw any discution so far, but i just came back in game  last week , and heard about  alliances, wich look  verry interesting

I heard alliances might be limited by number of players, not sure how much, but that an alliance of guilds cannot exceed 500 players or something? <-- needs verify

Also i think the alliances wont be about language barriers but about philosophy. Much like fighting oriented players all moved to vabbi and all rangers and their grandmothers moved to piken, i think there will be a huge balancing issue to get ppt oriented alliances and ppk oriented alliances evenly on all servers. Some servers will be crowded by a whole lot of people who really like roaming and some servers will be crowded by those with an extreme AC fetish. Not to mention its possible to have an entire alliance that recruits asura evasive burst mirages.

IMHO this is a clear money saving tactic by anet/ncsoft and not at all an attempt to please us or bring balance or anything.

I do hope guilds will spread out and make alliances based not on philosophy but on balance - a bit as servers did work. If not we will end up with 2/3 alliances doin EoTM-style circle-PvD all day except EU Prime when they just run away / bunker in T3 structures with thousands of ACs and fight-alliances just GvG or BvB 'cause no fun in chasin the former (take the actual issues and multiply by infinite). We do have a big bandwagoon-risk, will see if we have enough brainz to manage it.

Pretty sure most of the guilds and general population will bandwagon to some alliance that has the most veteran players of WvW. The server linking we got was a clear obvious indicator of the mentality that majority of players have. Many prefer going to where ever  place thats the easiest filled with veterans and then pat themselves on the shoulder for 1 pushing enemy blobs filled with mostly newcomers.

So yeah dont expect much of a balance out of this. Personaly in my opinion those idiots down in the anet should have just deleted servers instead of making linkings.  Ah well, enjoy WvW while it lasts and get a guild that has people you like being around or become a drifting pug.

well i really doubt that stacking would work if they keep the same sistem 1 up 1 down  

cause you would end up on bottom tier with nothing to fight with 500 fighting players

However is too early to say it , since we don;t have many informations about it .

Also i belive  german players prefer to stay  on their own alliance, i remember  RS ts used to have over 150 players in 1 channel, an organization hard to achive on any other server.

dw rav you'll stay alone in your own alliance ,nobody want to play with you cancer-kid xD

Alliances are just that. The actual infrastructure being as guilds want that to be. For efficiency a player would need to Field Marshall the overall resources as doing things as individual guilds in one Alliance would be self defeating. This gives some credence to identifiable specialised guilds ie Necro, Thief, Messmer etc. Setting tasks and objectives woulkd be easier to manage. Very large guilds may take up a whole alliance satatus. Language is also another factor that will shape guilds and alliances.

The exisiting wvw infrastructures are going to end and which may free wvw of the old dyed in wood influential wvw server players will be in a comp[letely different dimension. I hope that the archaic ways of wvw diapear and gives way to more creative and realistic warfare using specialised splinter groups and activity. This would allow all professions to be welcomed and participate in wvw.
